I know I joke a lot but this is on a serious note.

I was in high school when we invaded Iraq under the false pretenses of WMDs. A lot of my friends were tricked into thinking they were doing the right thing by enlisting.

The ones that did make it back were never the same, including one of my best friends.

He made it home with a purple heart after being shot 3 times, the physical injuries were nothing compared to the mental injuries.

the realization that he had to kill for a lie told to us from our government was rough on him.

He died last year from an overdose. I view his death as a casualty from that war 20 years later.

They will do whatever it takes to trick you into believing that this war is just and needed, dont believe them.
