#BurkinaFaso: Fires were also detected by NASA FIRMS around Gonadaouri, the focal point of the fighting, which ISSP cited in an audio statement claiming victory.

#BurkinaFaso: #ISSP and #JNIM clashed for more than two hours this morning around Intaylalene, Bangao, Deberé, and Soukoundou, in the Tin-Akoff and Oursi departments, Oudalan province. Preliminary reports indicate at least 60 fighters killed, including 50 JNIM members.

#Niger: Another clash between #JNIM and #ISSP as JNIM claims ambush in the Sambera area, #Dosso region. JNIM has been the dominant actor in this part of Dosso & around the WAP complex, but ISSP increasingly encroach on the Niger river area and surroundings along the #Benin border

#BurkinaFaso: Graphic images of his corpse circulate on local social media, showing point blank headshot, stripped of equipment, and body dragged on the ground

#BurkinaFaso: #JNIM claimed to have assassinated defector Sadou, named as "Saad Fada" and described as a "khariji [ISSP] commander." He was killed five and half months after his defection..

JNIM reports to have repelled advances of IS-Sahel fighters this evening in the village of "Beloui Chiouli" (almost certainly wrong spelling) somewhere in the Seno region in northeast Burkina Faso today.

A few days ago IS-Sahel attacked a JNIM base in Kodiolaye, south of Dori also in the Seno region, where they reportedly killed 12 militants and captured their weapons and motorcycles.

Selon ces sources, les assaillants ont ciblé des installations du pipeline avant de se replier vers une position de la gendarmerie nationale, abandonnée par les éléments, dont ils ont pris le contrôle sans résistance.
