We've gotten a lot of question recently regarding the EWS.

The largest being: When is EWS S2 going to start?

We're aiming to start EWS Season 2 at the start of January just like last season.

The reason it's taken so long is due to two key factors:

1.) The prize pool, currently we're trying to work with some investors for the event. For Season 2 we're aiming to have a 25k final championship paired with 4 500-1k majors. Finding the correct investors for this while trying to find investors for the MESA Play platform is a narrow strait we're trying to maneuver.

2.) The final championship. Currently we're exploring the option of having the final championship on LAN with MESA providing travel stipends for the qualifying teams to fly out at an event with a few other LANs going on. Although that expo is a whole another topic that MESA upper management will describe in another thread in the coming weeks.

Now all of this is up in the air and not set in stone. We don't want to get your hopes up. However, this is the current discussion aroudn S2.
