A Spring Concert was presented by the American Section Choirs in the school theatre today. Teachers and students supported and were delighted to hear a variety of beautiful pieces. Congratulations on these wonderful performances, which will contribute to Choir class term grades.
#IB DP11 visited #AUC this week to research for their Extended Essays. They were given a rare tour of the precious book room with AUC librarian, Ms Morgan. AUC librarian, Mr Muehlhaeusler, directed our students in their search of the superb resources in the university databases.
Our KS3 and Middle School Volleyball teams played friendly matches against Cairo American College today. Well done to all of the players and congratulations to the newly appointment Team Captains: Rehab Tayel (G8B) and Patrick Ibrahim (G7R).

KS3 students were invited to participate in the UK Mathematical Trust’s Junior Challenge. The Challenge promotes problem solving, reasoning, precision, and fluency through the use of basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. Congratulations! @UKMathsTrust

Throughout the month of March, the Secondary LMC is running a "Name the Notable Women" contest. We have created displays of photos of remarkable global women with clues about who they are. Students are very excited to participate and share their knowledge.
We look forward to welcoming parents and students from Year or Grade 10 upwards to join us at MES Cairo’s first University Fair on Sunday 19th March. In addition to their booth presence, Admissions Officers will be delivering presentations throughout the afternoon.

Year 5 students are enjoying their trip to Luxor. They have experienced a boat trip, a visit to the Temple of Karnak and the Valley of the Kings and even found some time to learn all about mummification. All while having a wonderful time in the warm weather!
