Anyone assembling near the Downing Street gates to observe events linked to the new Prime Minister must not use any amplified noise equipment and must stay within the shaded area. These conditions are in place between 10:30 – 13:30.

A 58-year-old man has been charged with a public order act offence. He was arrested on the Strand for holding a placard which had a photo of a police officer on it and caused harassment, alarm or distress.

On Wednesday, a 14-yr-old boy who was allegedly planning attacks on two mosques in Sutton was charged with terrorism offences.

A violent shoplifter who attacked staff with a saw has been jailed for 13 years.

Officers were on scene within two minutes after reports of a stabbing at a retail park.

This legislation helps protect both members of the public and emergency service workers from sex-based harassment, including wolf whistling, sexual verbal abuse and intimidation. It applies equally to male and female victims of harassment.

Those convicted face up to two years in prison.

When eagle-eyed officers spotted a young man carrying a large Rambo knife tucked into his waistband, they quickly sprang into action.

The suspect was detained under stop and search powers, arrested, and the weapon seized.

Last year alone, officers removed 2,894 knives from our streets.
