@SEPS_UK @CPL38 I think you'll have to follow the VTG1 form guidance notes on weighing it, we've "got round" it by buying from fleets that have been voluntarily MOT testing their kit so we havent had to VTG1 anything as yet.

@CPL38 @SkykingPlatform @SEPS_UK Well, that would be one way to tackle Joe's @SkykingPlatform point about modified fitments.We don't handle remounts, so what we sell is genuine fitments only. It's one of our strongest selling points !

@SkykingPlatform @MEWPHOUR @CPL38 @AllThingsArb We use three stations, one can get me October, two can fit me in in September, and one of those will let us know about cancellations. It's a nightmare, especially as we have 15 used MEWPs on the way in.

@SkykingPlatform @SEPS_UK @CPL38 The best way is to buy from a recognised MEWP dealer who deals in genuine manufacturer installations only, and doesn't sell remounts.

@MEWPHOUR @CPL38 @AllThingsArb Yes, the Tower Wagon exemption for HGV MOT testing has now been removed for MEWPs heavier than 3.5T GVW - so expect to see loads of old 5T MEWPs for sale with no MOT as they've been neglected for so long it'll need a mortgage to get a test cert.
