Did you notice the latest tactic by the Gun Lobby? Keep on coming up with solutions to the violence like "goodwill among men" and "perfect mental health" when the real solution is right in front of us. It has to do with... um, guns.

The start of women’s history month I pay tribute to my mother Viola Liuzzo. Gunned down by the Klan and the FBI on 3/25/65 after the Selma to Montgomery March. Viola lived as she believed that is why she left her family to help when Dr King called out. “It’s everybody’s fight”
Compassion and love are not a luxury; they are essential to our existence. Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community. We must learn to work not just for our own self, family, or nation, but for the benefit of all humankind.
I am disgusted by the grotesquely inhumane treatment of #TyreNichols.
