It is definitely a shock experiencing the hospital environment from the patient’s perspective. This year and last week has certainly highlighted to me that it is the little things that mean everything to a patient; a back rub when you are in agony, a smile, introductions, empathy

@thismorning I’ve had a lockdown baby; Daisy Bee, survived multiple blood clots and a haemorrhage at home, finished my degree, landed my dream job as an ODP at the royal Manchester children’s hospital, moved house and my eldest daughter has started highschool! What a year!!
