@SpartanRace You guys need to be a lot better. No one can control the weather but you can control how honest you are with your customers. You’ve gotta know that people make sacrifices to fund your operation. Be better to those people.

We had to leave because we had kids with babysitters for set amounts of time, which sucks because we’ve been planning for this for months—-rental cars, baby sitters, the whole shebang—-and seeing this makes us happy we made the decision we made

@jenniferklawler Anything that shows that math is *creative*, both in the "thinking outside the box, artistic" sense, and in the "we, humans, literally *create* math" sense.

@jenniferklawler Glad you liked it! :) I'd say letting students ask their own questions (about numbers, shapes, patterns, anything!) is key, mixed in of course with the fundamentals. I also have intro books, and there are several such out there!
