π Mini First Aid annual conference π
So Iβm beyond delighted to have made the finalists for Childrenβs Classes Provider of the Year because I really do put everything into the classes I deliver.
Thank you to all the schools and nurseries who work with me - this means so much
Itβs our annual conference this weekend! And hereβs me doing some life threatening bleeding practise, using haemostatic dressings to pack a bullet wound π²π
So impressed with Year 1βs safe eating skills; sitting on their bottoms, chopping up their food into bite size pieces , and making sure they chew it lots & lots before swallowing ππ»π
All of 1H are now First Aid Super StarsβοΈafter completing their Mini First Aid training this morning. We learned how to put a plaster on, how to use a cold compress, put someone in a safe position and how to call an ambulance. Look out for the certificate we have been awardedπ
Well done Year 2! You were brilliant ππ»
And it was really brave of the 2 children to share how they have had to call an ambulance for their parents already - it just proves the importance of learning these vital skills π
Year 2 loved their first aid session with @MFASalfordBB this morning. We can now help someone who is hurt and we know what to do in an emergency ππ¨#hcaspshe
Itβs always a pleasure to visit @StPaulsBolton and I was really happy to do a special assembly to help everyone in school support their friends with Diabetes π
@MFASalfordBB Yesterday we enjoyed a very informative assembly from Julia on Diabetes. It really helped us all understand what itβs like for our diabetic children and how we can help them on an emergency. #StPaulsenrichmentAB#communityandlivingwelltogether
Happy Bank Holiday - we hope the sun is shining wherever you are, and if it is, you might be thinking about how you should dress your baby for sleep in the heat.
This guide from Safe Sleep Scotland shows you the kind of clothing and bedding suitable for various temperatures.
Teddy & I have been back at Brandwood Primary School in Bolton for the 3rd year in a row.
Itβs lovely to have this relationship with several schools and I wholeheartedly support their commitment to their pupils and their local community.
Well done Reception and Year 5! ππ»ππ»ππ»
