Here’s an unpopular opinion—if you want to develop thought leadership, have unpopular opinions. Saying what everyone is saying or what everyone already believes is a good way to add to the noise. Saying something different or the same think with a twist is how you stand out.
#10 You should produce a Show to explain What’s Trending. 90% of the time it’s pretty confusing to figure out why something is trending. A simple 30–60 second video about the trending topic would be amazing. People would come to you first to see what all is the drama is about.

#9 Sports fans love Twitter. Run with that. It would be great to see more real time integration. Amazon’s Thursday Night Football or NBA League Pass would be the perfect fit to integrate connected TV add. @elonmusk
#7 Get rid of obviously dormant accounts. IE the ones that opened in 2009 and haven’t made more than 3 posts? Guarantee people are dying to swoop these handles up. @elonmusk
#5 I can log into a ton of 3rd party sites with my gmail. Why can’t I log into retailers with my Twitter so my mailing address and bank info are already entered in? Maybe retailers can offer some additional incentive…$X off your order when you log in with Twitter. @elonmusk
#3 It’s so hard to find people on Twitter. Make it easier to search for Name, City, Job and College. Link to their other social accounts, now everyone will come to Twitter first…basically a white pages directory. @elonmusk
