"We need a safe spot for first responders to recover and get treatment. Maybe if we had one, I'd have those years back, maybe not."

Wondering if anyone else who has struggled with severe anxiety finds ads for heart monitoring apps and devices stress-inducing. I used to constantly monitor my heart rate (manually). Took me years to tons of effort to stop. Every ad takes me back.
I just ventured out of my house for a few errands and I have to say that for a Tues before Xmas during a pandemic surge and right before yet another likely lockdown, it’s truly hell out there. For those of you choosing your duvet and Netflix over public interactions, good plan.
“This tells us there are things that we can do,” Dr. McIntyre said. “We don’t need to accept suicide rates, we need to rethink how we’re approaching this from a policy perspective.” https://t.co/gqTQRLaucN

Shout out to all my fellow riders, wherever you rode today. My goal: to keep doing an activity everyday until next Sat.
