Amid all of this there are still people being evicted from their homes, people rationing food so there's enough to eat, people choosing which bills they can pay and which they can't, people with no health insurance because they lost their job. It's infuriating. It's unacceptable.
Remember, only some of these heinous acts are caught on video.
“I demand a female officer.”
Incredibly ironic that @Austin_Police uses “I CARE” as an acronym to explain their department values.

You’re watching them “protect & serve” the community.
Notice how there are 10+ cops swarming this car while the White people in front move freely and wave with glee.
March For Our Lives UA stands irrevocably with the Black Lives Matter Movement. Attached is our full statement on recent events. There will be a fundraiser on our Instagram story tomorrow to benefit Campaign Zero!
We need to do everything in #OURPOWER to raise awareness to ALL communities affected by gun violence & conquer these injustices. We stand by you, George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and everyone affected by these horrific tragedies in our country. #BLACKLIVESMATTER
George Floyd deserved better. Ahmad Arbury deserves better. All our black brothers and sisters who were abused and murdered by police officers who’s stories were left untold by the media deserved better. Do better. Black Lives Matter always.
2 years ago today I spoke in D.C. not for myself but for black and brown youth who were tired of seeing their friends and family being shot and killed everyday.
I spoke for the parents who will never see there children again.
I spoke for my brother Terrell Bosley.
#OURPOWER
Even while we practice social distancing, the fight to end gun violence continues.
Check out #OURPOWER as @AMarch4OurLives prepares to shift our organizing strategies online!
Denial isn't a policy: not for #COVID19, and not for the gun violence epidemic.
We need our leaders to ACT to save lives.
We need REAL policy solutions.
That's why we're channeling youth power into digital organizing. #OURPOWER
Two years ago we marched.
Today we're asking you to stay inside.
Taking to the streets is not the only way we can organize to make change. Our people are #OURPOWER. And we're not backing down.
Join us for a whole new phase of the movement.

2 years ago thousands marched across the great state of Alabama for gun violence prevention. Today were pushing for the same movement. Text OUR POWER to 954-954 to join us and fight like hell in 2020 #OurPower#OURPOWER2020
This morning marked the 7th shooting this week in D.C. after a man was shot & killed in front of a cosmetology school. Every day our leaders fail to enact life saving gun legislation, more people are forced to suffer the tragic reality of gun violence. We honor them with action.
Gun violence in America is a public health crisis. Every day, 100 people in the U.S. are shot and killed. Almost 40,000 people in America die by guns every year. It’s urgent that our senators pass lifesaving legislation. #BackgroundChecksSaveLives
