@1a@mslaurabliss@SmartGrowthCEO@austinmobility@GHSAHQ Add to that, poor public transportation, and narrow shoulders. I drive for a living & can't tell you how many pedestrians & cyclists I *almost didn't see* in spite of being focused on the road.
@1a@mslaurabliss@SmartGrowthCEO@austinmobility@GHSAHQ Tangential: What is the cost difference between reflective striping paint and non-reflective? Not one street in my city or county uses reflective paint. Lines are barely visible in daylight. At night they're almost invisible, and invisible if roads are wet.
@PUGStockMarket They gave her a wait time? My "almost 3 hours" was via the online method, but I did also wait on the phone for 47 minutes during that time. Oh! The phone systems are county-run, hence the difference.
@my44news Meanwhile, Evansville has a 99-year-old decorated WWII veteran whose granddaughter has been trying for 2+ hours to get him scheduled. Just when my wait is almost over, I get sent back to the beginning & am given a new wait time. Except the last time: system at capacity.
@RowennaM No kidding. I've been trying to schedule my 99-yr-old grandfather for almost 3 hours. (That was after figuring out how to get to the registration page) Giving up for now. Cannot even imagine leaving it to him to get himself scheduled!
@WNDU Yep, tried to sign up on behalf of 99-yr-old granddad.
56-minute wait time, and at the end of 56 minutes got sent back to the beginning, where I was given a new 76-minute wait time, and about 72 minutes in, "our system is currently at capacity."
@WisslerAngela@indystar Thanks, Angela. ๐
I was 4-5 minutes from "my turn," tabbed back to the site, and instead of my countdown, "Our system is currently at capacity. Please try again later." ๐
@WisslerAngela@indystar Wow! So I should feel *lucky* that I first got (on behalf of 99-yr-old granddad) a 56-min wait, and after 56 min I was sent back to the end of the queue and given a brand new wait time of 1 hour, 16 minutes! ๐๐
@FOX59 Perhaps @StateHealthIN should have started with 90+? Or did they assume all those folks were already in LTC?!? ๐ก When I first got online to schedule appt for my 99-yr-old granddad, my wait was 56 min. After 56 min I was redirected to the beginning & given a new 1 h 16 min wait.
@Target Please be more responsible in your #mask marketing. Can't tell u # of times I've heard in #Target "Where are the masks?" Marketing strictly by brand, buried w/in various clothing depts is irresponsible. #Masks should be READILY visible by anyone for easy purchase.
@Target@Meijer @GovHolcomb @StateHealthIN For the love of gods, dogs, everything holy & unholy & everything in between, PLEASE add the 4 critical words "COVERING MOUTH AND NOSE" to all mask/face-covering messaging. (And require it while INSIDE the store, not merely to ENTER.)
#Shipt members, #Target & #Meijer delivery customers, PLEASE stop giving 5โ ratings to bad & mediocre #shiptshoppers! You wonder why you haven't seen your favorite shopper(s) in months? Save 5โ for your faves. If the shopper was adequate, skip the rating. Less than? Below 5.
@TigersFanJake @TonyPaul1984 To clarify, Shipt *shoppers* that *shop* and deliver. :) Sadly, the new Meijer service opened the floodgates to folks for whom appropriate tipping is unheard of (largely thanks to Walmart & Instacart). It's challenging to provide Shipt quality on a Walmart-like platform.
@meijer#evansville Show us the video of this so-called attack. Where is the paper-trail for the so-called prior warnings? How can *anyone* feel good about working there when you fire a team favorite (1 wk before xmas, no less)? Still shopping @meijer, but w/lead in my stomach.
@meijer#evansville It's hard to shop there now. You killed the sparkle, stomped on joy. When folks leave Meijer w/smile on their face, it's bcs they had a fun interaction during checkout, NOT because a greeter thanked them for shopping @meijer & told them to have a nice day.
@Meijer#Evansville, what's the quickest way to destroy morale? Fire your most charismatic and universally well-liked team member (who is also hard-working & extremely capable). Better yet, do it 1 week before Christmas.
@sierra_maulding@marandagibson@Instacart You're joking, right, Sierra? Honesty&transparency?๐ When customers ask if we're really busy, and tell me "Instacart told me they don't have enough shoppers," I tell them the truth. No shortage of shoppers; just a shortage of shoppers w/no self-respect willing to work for free.
@ech_kay_ess@Instacart Please remember to tip good shoppers appropriately! ($5 minimum, or 10-15%, whichever is higher). Hell, even *adequate* shoppers deserve more than Instacart's default 5%!
