The moment I started acting up in public as a very young kid my parents would take me home. Out to eat, anything. Back home. They didn’t tell me I was annoying and didn’t spank me or anything, they just let it be known that if I was gonna be extra we just wouldn’t do something. They started this when I was a toddler.
Once that clicked in my brain they could take me anywhere and I was fine. They took me to fine dining establishments as a like 4-5 year old and my mom said I’d sit up properly with my napkin on my lap and behave perfectly.
You don’t have to tell your kids they’re annoying and be mean, you just have to actually take action to show them what behaviors will and will not be accepted 🤷🏼♀️
