The GA Era Chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon had its Spring 2025 induction ceremony for new members on May 2nd. The members were nominated for their excellent academic records particularly in their math classes. Jacob Morton gave a presentation highlighting some undergrad math research.

The Cochran AITS hosted Dr. Christopher Hope on Thursday, April 3rd. Dr. Hope spoke on a popular subject, Cybersecurity, in his presentation titled Level Up Your Online Defense: Practical Cybersecurity for the Digital Age (Think Like a Hacker).
Students in Dr. Wayne Lockwood's ITEC 4501 UAS: Implementation and Management of UAS Wi-Fi course gathered near the MGA Macon Campus Lake to calibrate drones and prepare them for flights on Wednesday, January 29.

Dr. Stephanie Edge, Dr. Shaun Hope, and Dr. Valerie Mercer greeted over 200 Dodge County HS students on Thursday, December 5. The professors shared information technology and computer science dual enrollment, certificate, and degree program information with juniors and seniors.

MGA School of Computing AITS student club members work through various contests and challenges at the 2024 Hacker Halted Conference in Atlanta Georgia Oct. 30, 2024.
The Department of Computer Science hosted "Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp for High School Students" on Saturday, October 26. Students learned about the basics of artificial intelligence as well as the future opportunities the technology may provide.
MGA Macon Chapter of AITS (Association of Information Technology Students) members gathered on Monday, October 28 for an afternoon of classic computer games, card games, pizza, and costumes.
MGA's SOC Professor Tina Ashford presented the History and Evolution of Cryptography lecture to the Cyberknights club members on October 8, 2024. Students learned about the impact that ancient cryptography has on the importance of cryptography in cybersecurity.
