MarketCoach: a passing walk-forward test was resting on roll gaps

A configuration that passed walk-forward testing failed once the price data was corrected.

✅ The original test used front-month NQ with contract roll gaps left in, up to 282 points.
✅ On a back-adjusted series the relaxed configuration turned slightly negative.
✅ The shipped configuration stayed positive, but its edge more than halved.

MarketCoach V3.4.1: session-anchor correction

Found and fixed a divergence between the MarketCoach research harness and the live strategy, then re-graded everything downstream of it.

✅ The harness re-anchored once, on the calendar date only.
✅ The correction costs more than expected.
✅ An earlier partial patch — VWAP only — looked mild.

Correct direction ≠ correct entry.

Our models repeatedly identified the bearish environment, but execution timing remained the weak link.

So, we went back to research.

No hiding bad results.
No fitting the story after the move.

This morning the market expanded hard, but our research stack said:

Timing patch deployed.

The Three Musketeers are now:

Today’s test exposed the problem we wanted to eliminate:

❌ FIRE → then pullback

New required sequence:

✅ Trend → Pullback → Reset → Reaction → 5M Confirmation → Fire

The old premature MC A+ LONG disappeared after the patch.

Now we test the new logic across Asia → London → New York.

No victory lap yet. The patch has to prove itself in testing.

Build. Test. Observe. Improve.

NY reinforced the same lesson from Asia/London:

Price movement ≠ permission

The system stayed selective while NQ moved — and the operator stayed out when full consensus wasn’t present. 🪑🫲

We’re developing a decision system that helps reject trades that haven’t earned execution

NQ | Three Musketeers Test 🔱

Tonight wasn't about catching the move.

MC saw developing context.
QAX reached ARMED.
TP showed 100% Earned / Readiness / Trigger.

And still:

✔️PERMISSION: LOCKED.

Price eventually moved higher anyway from Asia Session First A plus Set-up from MC V3.2.

That's the lesson.

✅A move happening doesn't mean I was entitled to trade it.

👉I'm learning that a winning move and a valid trade are not the same thing.

🔱 MC identifies.
⚔️ QAX qualifies.
🛡️ TP grants permission.
🫡 I execute.

Until all three agree:

Asia Session — Live Development Test 🔱

MC V 3.2 found an A+ directional candidate tonight, but QAX V 5.1 + TradePilot V 5.1 never granted full execution permission.

I entered early anyway. 😅 The trade made money, but the process was wrong

That exposed an important UI improvement:

“A+ CONFIRMED” → “A+ CANDIDATE — AWAIT QAX + TP.”

The architecture stays simple:

MC identifies → QAX qualifies → TP grants permission → I execute

A correct market read is not automatically a valid trade

Process > prediction

Live testing continues⚓🔱

First Asia-open test was interesting:
strong bullish alignment + opening expansion, but the system refused to chase.

✅QAX flagged extension
✅MC recognized opening-auction conditions
✅TP stayed locked

That's the design:
