EXPLAINATION FROM MY DEMO:
-Game feels a lot more like ygo than it feels like op
-leader based game no extra deck
-you have one "normal summon" a turn and can special summon via EX characters or effects
-start with 5 cards in hand. Player going 2nd can mulligan
-on the play draws 1 card, on the draw draws 2. Then both players draw 2 every turn
- there are "support" characters that you can either use as normal summons, "trap cards" (think ygo) or "handtraps" (think ygo) it appears so far handtraps are only on your own turn though. Traps either turn.
-5 slots for characters and 5 for face down supports (trapcards)
-you have 5 "charkra" these do not get paid to summon anything, only to activate support cards (the traps/handtraps-- so far it seems)
-you do not get chakra back automatically- you have to manually get it back via tapping your leader (this means you will end up skipping a swing from you leader)
-characters do not inheriently have rush aka they have summon sickness
-characters all have 2 different attack points. 1 attack value for when they attack a leader and 1 for when they attack rested characters. Characters also have an hp stat that determines if they die from battle with other characters. Attackers cannot be damaged only the target of battle
-a full damage step. Declaration, effects, support effects, damage calc
-a chain like ygo the resolves backwards
-no life cards. A life value like in magic
-game seems VERY FUN and interactive
-the arts are unbelievable. Best looking game ive ever seen visually.
Do the ends justify the means? If you win the war and lose yourself, what did you gain?
Sir Christopher Johnathon James Nolan, to call you a genius I would be downplaying your greatness

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire's physical copies will not require an internet connection to play the game.
If you insert the disc/cartridge into an offline PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, or Nintendo Switch 2, the game will be playable.
If your console is connected to the internet, the latest update will be downloaded, which we recommend in order to install the latest quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and more.
We hope you enjoy your time in Mouseburg 🐭
More reports why Sony is trying to end physical discs:
- They want to cut out the middle man, to make more profit per sale (like remove walmart cuts etc)
- Sony thinks the fanbase will not switch platforms, they can do what they please without losing fans
- They are convinced by ignoring this issue, they fans will just accept the changes and convert to 100% digital with time.
- Sony thinks they are "too big to have commination with fans". Talking to fans has no margin benefit, so they refuse to address fans and will keep doing so
I have lost all trust and goodwill with PlayStation, no words what is happening right now. Horrible company
Spoiler for 9 year old game but literally play every case she's alive in and there's a blink and you'll miss it line where she just deduces the culprit and how the murder happens and everyone just plays it off as stupid and moves on. You don't even notice in the moment.
