This is quite a statement from The Times on Imran Khan..
“The conduct by Pakistan in this matter is indefensible. Mr Khan is clearly the subject of extreme political persecution, now threatening his life. The British government must protest in the strongest terms.”
It’s a genuinely heartbreaking story to read detailing some of the appalling conditions he is ‘living’ in.
When even The Times is putting it this bluntly this is impossible to ignore. Shout it louder for the people at the back!

Not once has the record been produced, not once has justice been done. This is a charade and a mockery of due process. The prosecution is not obstructing justice but denying it.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi should not be in jail, he should be free.

My only “crime” is that I work as a journalist in Pakistan, ask questions and try to speak the truth.
I appeal to journalists organizations, press freedom groups, and human rights organizations around the world to take notice of what is happening to journalists in Pakistan. If a journalist’s only crime is asking questions and speaking the truth then the world must ask: When did journalism become a crime?

If you or I say the Israeli prime minister ‘influences’ American politicians to get them to think his way and fight his wars, it’s antisemitic. But if the Israeli prime minister says it…
If we are really to call this the weakest Pakistan side ever, we must necessarily preface it by saying they are the product of the worst administrative period in Pakistan's history - Osman Samiuddin https://t.co/89CkRb1zs4
My sister, Dr Uzma Khan, filed a petition before the Supreme Court on the 6th of May 2026 through Uzair Karamat Bhandari, ASC, for Imran Khan’s examination and treatment in the presence of his personal doctors and family members.
On 18th August, a three-member Supreme Court bench ordered the government to shift Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital within 2 days. The government blatantly violated the order.
The government did not shift Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital. All the other aspects of the order have also been disobeyed.
The Supreme Court had also ordered:
1.Constitution of a medical board in consultation and coordination with the management of Shifa International Hospital
2.Dr Faisal Sultan, Imran Khan’s personal physician, to be associated with the medical examination and treatment
3.Imran Khan be allowed to speak to his sons twice a week
4.Imran Khan be allowed to meet with his family once a week.
All the above reliefs were in accordance with the Constitution, Prison Rules and earlier orders/precedents.
NONE of the above directions have been complied with. The only limited access granted to the family has been to my sister, Noreen Niazi, who was allowed to meet Imran Khan on each of the previous two Tuesdays. Inexplicably, before meeting Imran Khan she was made to sign an affidavit undertaking that she will not speak to the press after the meeting.
In view of the gross and deliberate violation of the order, Dr Uzma Khan filed a petition for contempt of court. Despite the fact that our lawyer, Uzair Bhandari, filed two applications, early fixation and hearing of the contempt petition has not been granted and it has been fixed on 16th September.
The Constitution and the law require proper check up and treatment for Imran Khan and an END to his torture through isolation and solitary confinement!! This is what the Supreme Court order required. The demand that this be done is not extraordinary: these are Imran Khan’s fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution. If the government has no respect for the Constitution and the decisions of the Supreme Court, and can simply disregard its orders, what other forum is left for us?

Dear General sb. Today is a working day, we hope you have been able to see the original document by now. We would really appreciate if you can now acknowledge that the document was not fake as you alleged.

🚨 ‘WHERE’S THE HUMANITY?’: IMRAN KHAN’S SONS SPEAK OUT
The sons of jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan have voiced growing fears over their father’s health and treatment in prison, saying they have been unable to speak to him for months.
Sulaiman and Kasim Khan have raised concerns over his prolonged isolation and wellbeing, asking, “Where’s the humanity?”
Pakistani authorities have rejected allegations that the former prime minister is being mistreated.
🔴 #BREAKING Shameful to see Harvard Biz School @HarvardHBS students hobnobbing with Pakistan's de facto dictator, a human rights abuser involved in atrocities & war crimes against the #Baloch, the #Afghans & others. To b part of such @OfficialDGISPR propaganda is deplorable! 🤮
Imran Khan does not need constant visibility to remain relevant. He has become a symbol of courage and conviction, one that people of conscience stand with, even in his absence.

PCB is such a shameless cricket board, first they said, If Sky Sports telecast the interview of Imran Khan's sons, we won't play
Meanwhile, Sky Sports telecasted the interview and Pakistan is playing the Lord's Test
If a clown had a face, the PCB would be it's prime example🤡
