It’s a pity Eurostat doesn’t yet collect their ‘deposit’ cans and put these in the Dutch RVM’s. Probably a lot of cans and PET bottles get lost in mixed waste for incineration this way. And DRS Netherlands doesn’t have to pay back the deposit money!
What a pity that France is delaying the introduction of a deposit return system for aluminium beverage cans and PET bottles. Recycling rates would within 2 years jump from 50 to 90%! @laconsigne
Participated today at the opening of the new recycling centre of Constellium in France. An impressive number of 20 billion cans will be transferred into new aluminium every year, saving primary resources, energy and CO2 emissions by 95%!
