@MathMedic Looking to use the random sampling lesson from Geometry. How is using the random number generator used to generate the sample? Do the #'s tell students which words in the lyrics to find? (eg. #10 means use the 10th word in the song)? Any clarification here? Thx!

Just found out I may be teaching Algebra 2 for the first time in my almost 20-yr. career. I use @desmosclassroom for my Math 8 and Alg 1 and it went great. With Alg. 2 not due out until fall 2024 where are some good starting points, resources, etc. #iteachmath #mtbos @Amplify

Watch a teacher make roughly ~1,000 instructional decisions in about 45 seconds. Only a few of them are about the lesson but the lesson depends on ALL of them. This is one of the hardest things to explain about teaching to people who have never taught.
