"When you start accepting defeats just because your team played well and just because your players gave their best, a performance for people to be proud of
I think when you get used to it, that’s when the big clubs stop being big clubs."
Jose Mourinho

First PL win under Maresca for Chelsea.
Southgate whining about the supposedly ‘strange environment we’re playing in’ was very weird. The environment is same as normal: play well, get praised, play badly, get criticised. End.
You speak to real football people about Chelsea’s situation & you hear common sense. I have been saying this for months & I get constant abuse for it.

WE BACK. The return of 60km days. Injuries subsiding with seemingly no rhyme or reason. Not here to ask questions just here to batter the home straight. 6500km left. Most of it going through the Sahara desert. The final boss. Delightful.
Other than that the last few days have been really enjoyable. Me and Guus were treated to the finest food Abidjan has to offer and the best food I’ve ever eaten.
Josh joined us for a few days to film some extra stuff for the documentary we’re making about the mission.
James ran 60 big ones with me today in what was a terrible day to be the African tarmac network.
@cameramanstan_ returned from holiday and reminded me I said I would be done in 240 days and it’s now day 240 and we aren’t on a beach in Tunisia with strawberry daiquiris. Shocking scenes. Sometimes these things don’t work out like first planned. Giving it my very best till the bitter end🫡
