@thechurchsplit@farmingandJesus The underlying issue of being bound only by ur consciousness under a Protestant framework is what I’m ultimately pointing to. Whether it’s this issue or any other, u are not bound by what the church has practiced or believed historically, and can beleive what u think is right
@thechurchsplit@farmingandJesus Don’t reformed teach that TULIP is taught in the bible? Wouldn’t they affirm that it is in order with the early church?
@thechurchsplit@farmingandJesus While I 100% agree with @thechurchsplit here I can’t help but wonder how to set the boundaries of what is heretical vs what isn’t given the Protestant presuppositions? Heretical for one, gospel for the other…who’s to say what is right vs wrong if u r bound by ur own conscience
@thechurchsplit@farmingandJesus Thank you for your response. I believe my original point still stands, only now we are relying on your definition of heretical vs reformed definition of heretical (in this case rejecting TULIP) and each is bound to his own consciousness with his own definition.
@jdpritchett@TwiceBornSpirit Glad you are admitting that the only difference between Catholics and Protestantism is the amount of Popes at any given time
@JayDyer@Alex_Ortodoxie@C2Antiquity
The absolute hypocrisy of these Protestants accusing EO of sowing division in the church when they literally exist because of Schism from the Catholics is mind blowing 🤯
@The_Idol_Killer@MYPBlue@needGod_net Hey Warren, appreciate you standing up for Eastern Orthodoxy against slander of this joke of a man. We love you and will one day welcome you to the one true church. God bless you my man!
@DPGBehler Derrik you are totally right, you should step up to a public debate and “expose” EO. Shouldn’t be a problem for you right? Since like you said it’s just “abstract mystical crap”.
