Last night, the Senate unanimously passed bipartisan legislation to reauthorize the Rural Community Hospital Demonstration program, which currently supports six rural hospitals across Mississippi. This program has a proven record of strengthening hospital finances, improving Medicare margins, and helping rural facilities retain staff and keep their doors open for the communities they serve. I was proud to cosponsor Senator @ChuckGrassley's legislation and I urge the House of Representatives to act swiftly and send it to @POTUS's desk.
