Marblehead advances to the Sweet 16 with a 3-2 win in 2OT over Walpole. Callie Gilmore scored assisted by Ashley Mortensen and Sydney Ball tied the game with 2 min left assisted by Lucy Church. Lucy McDonald was the hero in 2OT with a blast from 34 yards out assisted by Callie.

MHD finishes 12-1-5 after tying Newton South 2-2 and a 3-0 win vs Salem. Phoebe Fontella-Tuttle and Syd Ball scored on Mon with assists from Isabel Mortensen and Callie Gilmore. Lucy McDonald, Liv Carlson and Carys Moran scored and Syd Ball has 2 assists on Senior Night.

Battling through a wave of injuries, the team showed incredible heart to earn a 1-1 draw vs Lynnfield. Sadie Halpern scored an emotional equalizer and Izzie Gonzalez had the assist. Lucy McDonald and Sydney Ball shined in the midfield and Lily Heller made some big-time saves.

Gritty team effort in a hard-fought 0-0 draw with Masco. Strong defensive play from Ainsley McDonald and Sydney Ball anchored the back line, and Hailey Gilmore earned the clean sheet. The team is now 11-1-3 with 3 games remaining, and plays next at Lynnfield on Saturday at 10am.

Big 4-1 win on the road against Danvers last night! Callie Gilmore had 2 goals, Liv Carlson a goal and 2 assists, Courtney Hitscherich a goal and an assist and Ashley Mortensen an assist. The team is now 10-1-2 going into tomorrow night’s home game at 7pm against Winthrop.

Members of the Marblehead High School Girls and Boys Soccer programs participated in the 2025 Breast Friends Walk this morning. Funds raised from the event will help the MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center continue its important work supporting breast cancer patients. 🩷
