UNICEF condemns the reported killing of 38 people in Kayah State and is gravely concerned for the safety of two @save_children staff members who were reportedly caught up in the incident and remain missing. Those responsible for this incident must be held to account.
Civilians and humanitarian staff cannot be a target in armed conflicts. These attacks are a violation of the international humanitarian law.
