Congratulations to these boys in the track regional: Aiden Swartz, who finished 7th in the 110 hurdles (16.27) & the 4x100 relay team of Swartz, Kelan Endris, Tyson Quinn & Gavin Robinson who finished 13th (46.43). That concludes boys & girls track season. The banquet is Monday

A big thank you & congratulations to MHS baseball player Cooper McFadden. During a baseball sectional game @ Mitchell, Cooper allowed an opposing player to borrow his catcher's equipment. The opposing team's AD rewarded MHS with a sportsmanship point. Great job, Cooper!

Wednesday, May 28 sports: the Lady Jackets softball team is scheduled to play Clarksville @ the Salem Softball Sectional @ 7:30, boys golf travels to Salt Creek GC to play Brown County & the opening round of the Mitchell baseball sectional begins tonight @ 5:30 @ Seitzinger Field

Congratulations to these girls in the track regional: Kaylynn Kohlhaas (6th in discus with a throw of 113-10 & 9th in shot put) Marissa Blais (7th in the 100 hurdles & 9th in the 300 hurdles with a new school record time of 47.93) & the 3200 relay (15th place) #MitchellPride

Tuesday, May 26 sports cancellations: the varsity softball sectional at Salem is postponed & JH baseball @ NE Dubois is now cancelled. As of now baseball vs. NE Dubois, boys golf @ Stonecrest & the girls track regional @ Bloomington South are still on #MitchellPride #GoJackets

The softball sectional @ Salem is now postponed until Wednesday evening @ the same times. The Lady Jackets will now play Clarksville Wednesday, May 27 @ 7:30 with the semifinals slated for Thursday & the championship game now scheduled for Friday evening #MitchellPride #GoJackets
