One of our group found their relative on the Thiepval memorial. LSgt Thomas Duckers died serving in October 1916. A very thoughtful afternoon with a reminder of how close to home this was for families.

Mr Lucas found some pork pies! Making good time at Dover - had our passports checked and we can all see the sea!!

We’re on our way! Mr Lucas angry that he forgot his pork pies. I can hear lots of rustling of sweet packets already!!
