Board votes 19-0 to waive MIAA Rule 58.1 in order to allow each principal to determine the student eligibility for this spring season only.

Vote is 12-0-1 to have a minimum of eight and maximum of 12 games to qualify for the tournament should be the standard.

If May 4 is the firm reopen date, all you are getting from spring season is a shortened regular season with no tournament. Even that is now a best case scenario if all goes well.
