Here I post monster-hunter related bad takes, that either I or members of the community find on various platforms
Sifting through them is hell, but I appreciate everyone who submits!
@ChronoPinoyX that's a good point actually, but honestly theres so many "first name, bunch of numbers" accounts that I don't wanna risk it incase one person just has their dob or something and it's their real account
also thx <3
@Gomu_Reborn yeah its context from the poster's account and stuff, but also i think pirating the expansion implies some intent to play it, though I agree that's a little loose
@Swoocey @ThePsyren@Drx4041 Agreed. I think the pandemic really hit rise hard, and I'm hoping sunbreak can help overcome the issues that resulted from it
really seems like some people are missing the point here
i couldn't care less about piracy tbh
the shit take here is :
"this game that I played for 500 hours and will continue to play, including the expansion, is so irredeemably bad that I think it should be pirated as protest"
@Ada2987_art yeah exactly
theres a huge difference between "this game has missed potential and flaws" and "this is a bad game"
and even more difference between "this game is so bad, it should be pirated in protest"
@CycloneVonSleet "I have 500 hours in this game
I have every intention to keep playing it
I want to play the expansion in fact
This game is so irredeemably bad that I think it in particular should be pirated as some kind of protest"
piracy is fine, this take is not
@KoguBlick yeah its just there for context as to why he thinks the game he's spent 500 hours in and plans on spending more time on is worth pirating
on its own its a completely fine take, even though i dont really agree with it
@Gomu_Reborn@mexican_sunbro i think its nearly impossible to have spent 500 hours on a game, still be playing it, still plan on playing it, and actually think it's bad
they just mean "has some flaws and things that could have been handled better" which makes the take so odd
@spoontoast yeah im dont mind the takes where people say "pirate a game if you can't afford it or don't plan on buying it, it's a victimless crime"
it's the "im gonna play it for 1000 hours but pirate it anyway because the devs made some decisions I don't like" justification that gets me
Also this isn't like a general "do piracy" take or anything, in which case whatever, i wouldn't case. They specifically think the MH games need to be pirated to "send a message" to the devs ๐คฃ๐คฃ
This really doesn't seem like a joke/bait judging by their profile and doubling down btw
Also sorry for the lack of posts, real life has been on a downward spiral so I'm trying to fix that first. Haven't been posting to yt/twitch either x_x
