A big congratulations to the Alto executives for getting $2.8 million in bonuses for a train project that has no route, no financing, no building permit, no start date, and won’t exist for over a decade.
The Liberal Club is getting richer than ever. Thank you, Mark Carney. Pop the Champagne!!! 🍾
I take back what I said about Carney having the stones to make a decision re 24 Sussex. If the CBC report is correct, clearly he's looking for political cover using an advisory council. There's no courage in that. This will drag on for years. Can't Canada elect a true leader?
@honjamesmoore Not sure if this is an issue for Pierre to heavily criticize. I’m not a Carney fan but even I’ll give him credit for at least having the stones to make a decision. It needs to be done. PP should let this one go.

@CityNewsOttawa Officer deaths can’t be the only metric with which to measure officer safety. Equipment, tactics, mentality, and more, have all evolved. If this guy thinks the streets are safer than in past decades, he never leaves the safety of his desk to walk them.
@CTVNews At best, it's much less safe doing the job than when I started in the late 80s. The ready availability of handguns has made the job much riskier day to day.
@CTVNews Ya, let's hear what the academic thinks. How about speaking to long time, veteran police officers, who have been around for a while, and have seen FIRST HAND the changes over the last 25+ years. Lets hear their take, not that of some guy who's safely tucked in behind his desk.
To all of you anonymous tweeters who don’t have the lowest level of courage to tweet in your name, that have the nerve to attack a police officer in one of the most stressful and unpredictable live shooting incidents , where a fellow officer lay dead next to her and there were at the time an unknown number of shooters , shame on you.
Respect for the @SPVM and deep sympathies for the fallen officer and the innocent victim of this shooting in Montreal.
