In Mora, @IssaSanogoUN launched an initiative by @PNUDCameroun @Chris_Charbon under the framework of the #Regional Stabilization Facility for the Lake Chad Basin, aimed at strengthening traditional jurisdictions through the provision of equipment, institutional capacity-building, and operational support. The initiative seeks to promote the peaceful resolution of disputes, social cohesion, and access to justice.

🇨🇲 À Kolofata, UN RC/HC @IssaSanogoUN a visité plusieurs infrastructures stratégiques construites avec l’appui de @PNUDCameroun @Chris_Charbon dans le cadre de la Facilité Régionale de #Stabilisation du Bassin du Lac Tchad,
Notamment la sous-préfecture, la brigade de gendarmerie, le commissariat, les services des douanes et des points d’eau communautaires.

En rapprochant les services publics des populations, ces investissements contribuent au retour durable de l’autorité de l’État, au renforcement de la cohésion sociale et à la consolidation de la stabilisation dans le Mayo-Sava.

Day 1 of a two-day #Creatives4Peace Youth Forum, gathering young creators from across Africa to unpack how the culture and creative industries can contribute to economic empowerment, peace and social cohesion.

Cameroon’s Minister of Youth and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou, @Mfoutsou joined UNDP representatives and Cameroon's artists, including @StanleyEnow and a national youth council representative, to officially open the ceremony.

Un forum de la jeunesse #Creatives4Peace de deux jours se tient actuellement à Yaoundé, au Cameroun. De jeunes créateurs issus des secteurs du cinéma, de la musique, de la mode et des arts, venus de plusieurs pays africains, y échangent sur la manière dont les industries culturelles et créatives peuvent davantage favoriser l'autonomisation économique, la cohésion sociale et la création d'opportunités.

Le ministre camerounais de la Jeunesse et de l'Éducation civique, S.E. Mounouna Foutsou (@Mfoutsou), a pris part à la cérémonie d'ouverture aux côtés de représentants du PNUD, de la Commission de l'Union africaine (Dép't chargé des questions de femmes et de jeunesse) et du conseil national de la jeunesse.

Plusieurs panels, ponctués d'intermèdes musicaux, de prestations de « spoken word » et de performances artistiques, rythmeront ces deux journées.
