We are partnering with @InclusionNB and @ACOACanada to develop a new course on the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and how to support them in decision-making.
The course will be available on Inclusion NB’s Inclusive Communities Institute online learning platform to families, educators and employers, teaching them important skills and information to navigate the decision-making process with confidence and clarity.

Wonderful day of presentations including from @HaleyFlaro from @AbilityNB, @JakeAReid and Ken Pyke from @InclusionNB providing important input and recommendations for the drafting of the Accessibility Act.
The latest @StatCan_eng data is worrisome. #NB recorded the largest increase in #disability rates in Canada. NB’s disability rate has increased from 26.7% of our population to 35.3%. This data has significant implications for health, economic & social policy.
