It was a sad day for the U.S. - Imagine for a minute how today and the last year with multiple pandemics could have been handled differently if everyone had an education in #EmotionalIntelligence! Itβs the difference between life and death!
ππ» Fostering turangawaewae starts with reflection from schools, are we really allowing space for this? Do our school systems support the development of this?
Why is it that one aspect of well-being (physical) is of personal responsibility but another (mental) is one that requires support? Am I reading into to much to say it seems one is being placed with more importance?
Great read, what strikes me about this is our opportunity to develop social and emotional reflection/learning in context of a situation we are all facing. https://t.co/il4Ae5Yhby

In preparing ourselves for what learning will look like for our students in the next few months, here are a couple of concerns we mustnβt ignore - and work together to resolve https://t.co/NWVwMPni0U
@Ann7Heather Last 3 years. Itβs honestly been great. We got some of our whanau involved. Had a bunch of our seniors trial menstrual cup, period undies and reusable pads over the course of the year and feedback on it. They learnt so much about their bodies!
@Cleansweep_@DanceWellNZ@fivefoot3@traintheteacher We got our starter pack from sustainable period project, then we just collaborated with some other brands like MyCup, Oi and Luna cup. Most companies are pretty good about donating to schools you just have to email and ask. Hereβs the link for the start pack anyway hope it helps
