This little girl had the world at her feet 💗 Emily was/is so incredibly loved - she would have fulfilled all of her hopes and dreams (of which she had many) if she hadn’t met him 💔
No one has the right to abuse a woman, nor to take her to the terrifying point where she’s fighting for her life as you strangle her, starving her brain of oxygen. The fear and harms can’t be downplayed. A man that puts his hands on or around your neck and stops you breathing is the most dangerous of men. He is only seconds away from becoming a murderer.
For our darling girl, and so many others subjected to this heinous crime, we continue to lobby to see non fatal strangulation introduced as a standalone crime in scotland 💔 #domesticabuse #SuicidePrevention
