It was a great honor to welcome @PahlaviReza to our @RMA_Belgium for an insightful discussion about the situation in the Middle East.
In a guest lecture for our next generation of military leaders, he delivered a powerful message of hope.
The present rulers in Iran hold global trade hostage. They enable Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. They violently suppress dissent at home and export instability abroad. Yet a different Iran is also possible. One in which the Iranian people can choose their own form of government in free and fair elections. An Iran that cooperates with its neighbors instead of threatening them. One that works with Europe instead of dividing it.
This message of hope has left me and many others with a lot to think about. Imagining such a different future is exactly what the oppressive rulers in Tehran seek to prevent by means of intimidation. But hope for a better future will always conquer fear.
I am proud to stand alongside a leader of such stature.
Thank you for your visit and for your inspiring words!
Day 3 of Prince Reza Pahlavi’s visit to Brussels featured a tour of the Belgian Parliament, alongside meetings with several MPs and government ministers.
He also sat down for interviews with journalists from international media outlets.
Key topics on the agenda included practical European support for the Iranian people, especially secure and resilient internet access, establishing a global network of parliamentarians to back Iran’s fight for freedom, addressing ongoing human rights abuses by the Islamic Republic, and future opportunities for a free, democratic Iran to cooperate with the international community, including Belgium.

A recap of the first day of Prince Reza Pahlavi’s visit to Belgium
Prince Reza Pahlavi began his Brussels visit at the European Parliament, urging lawmakers to end appeasement of the Islamic Republic and support Iranians through internet access, targeted pressure, and international parliamentary cooperation.
Meanwhile, Iranians marched through Brussels and gathered outside Parliament to welcome him and call for freedom.
It was a pleasure to meet again with @davidmcallister , Chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs.
I appreciate his deep commitment to the people of Iran and support for freedom and democracy. We discussed a range of measures the EU could take from further sanctions to support on internet connectivity. David is a true friend of our cause.
For nearly half a century, Iranian Americans have helped build and strengthen this country through their contributions to business, medicine, science, and education.
Today, I call on my fellow Iranians in America, and on every American who values freedom, peace, stability, and economic security, to make your voices heard at the ballot box this November, and to consider the freedom of Iran as an important issue when casting your vote.
Because a free Iran is better for everyone.
It is better for the people of Iran, who deserve to live with dignity, speak freely, and choose their own leaders without fear.
It is better for the world. For more than four decades, the Islamic Republic has armed militias, financed terrorism, and destabilized its neighbors. Its actions have claimed countless innocent lives and spread violence, chaos, and insecurity across the Middle East, Europe, and beyond.
And it is better for the American people. Today, the Islamic Republic’s disruption of the Strait of Hormuz is driving economic pressure all the way to American gas pumps and grocery stores. A free Iran means secure and open shipping lanes, more stable energy markets, and a nation of 90 million people ready to trade and cooperate with America instead of threatening it. There can be no lasting peace or stability with a regime whose leaders chant “Death to America.”
That is why I urge you to vote and to encourage your family and friends to do the same. Ask every candidate, Republican or Democrat, whether they understand that the problem is the regime itself.
As you cast your vote, consider where each candidate stands: with the Iranian people or with those who oppress them.
The Islamic Republic is not the solution to the crisis. It is the root of the crisis. And the only lasting solution is to remove that root, the regime itself.
Reza Pahlavi
As I arrive in Brussels, the capital of Europe, to meet with its leaders, the criminal regime in Iran has murdered two more protesters from the January 8 and 9 protests. Amir Hossein Ebrahimi and Amir Hossein Maleki were put to death this morning, killed by the Islamic Republic, for the crime of wanting to be free.
I am in Brussels with a clear message: the era of appeasement must end. Appeasement means more dead, innocent Iranians. Now is the time for moral courage and strategic clarity. Now is time to help the Iranian people end this reign of terror.
Reza Pahlavi
As an Iranian-American, I was able to exercise my right to vote today for the first time. When I inserted my ballot into the machine, my only thoughts lay with all the young girls in Iran—just like me—who don’t get to have this same privilege. Instead, they only get sham elections filled with the same rotation of candidates handpicked by the bloodthirsty Islamic Republic.
Today, I voted on behalf of those silenced voices. My vote went to @SteveHiltonx, as he supports maximum pressure against the Islamic Republic in Iran—a policy that will protect both Iranian people, as well as the integrity and national security of the United States.
I can only dream of the day the music of birds will grace the skies of Tehran once more, rather than the “morning prayer” and the choking sobs of mothers and fathers that follow. And thus, I will vote for those who believes in this future as well.
