JJ Redick got heated on First Take this morning
“WHY ARE WE TRYING TO LAY DOWN THE HAMMER ON A 23-YEAR-OLD WHO DIDN’T BREAK A LAW? EXPLAIN THAT TO ME !”
(h/t @awfulannouncing )
I’m curious as to how former athletes feel about this topic. I’m sure just about all of us have experienced this and probably way worse. Some will say kids are just soft and others will say there are other ways to reach your team, what are your thoughts?
PRODUCTIVE, SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE DON'T FOCUS ON WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE DOING. It's great to be inspired by what other successful people are doing but when you're constantly comparing yourself to the next person & it's bringing you down, it's time to shift your mindset. Compete w/YOU
DON'T EVER STOP IN YOUR PURSUIT OF A LEGACY. Many people have accomplished tremendous things later on in life. There is never a time to stop your pursuit of a legacy. There's always time to do more achieve more to help more & serve more. Keep going & grow a legacy.
