Thought I’d seen & heard it all!
Just in a cafe having breakfast & a bloke is kicking off cos they serve breakfasts on a rectangular plate & not a typical round plate!! #knob#getalife#biggerthingsinlifetoworryabout
My eldest an Arsenal fan made this for his younger brother a Liverpool fan!
What has happened is not about football but the togetherness is something special!
Live for today as you just don’t know if you’ll see tomorrow!! #DiogoJota#number20forever#LiverpoolFC
Life moves fast.
We stress. We rush. We worry.
But in the end, none of that really matters. What matters is how you live, how you love, how you leave your mark.
One day you are here. The next, you might not be.
So show up. Be kind. Give your best. For them, and for you.
I’ve been trying to write something, but no words feel right.
Diogo Jota was more than a footballer. He was a husband. A dad. A young man with his whole life ahead of him. Two weeks ago, he married the love of his life. Today, he’s gone. It doesn’t feel real.
As a father and a husband myself, this one cuts deep. You think of his wife, waking up to a world without him. You think of his three kids, far too young to understand why their dad isn’t coming home. The pain they’ll carry forever. It’s unbearable 😢.
We all live for football. It shapes our weeks, fills our days, brings us joy and heartache. But this reminds us, in the most brutal way, that it’s just a game. Life is fragile. Precious. And far too short.
Today, I’m not thinking about transfers or tactics. I’m thinking about a young family torn apart. About how unfair the world can be.
Rest easy, Diogo. You’ll never walk alone. And may your family find strength in the love that surrounds them. We’re all holding them in our hearts tonight. #LFC #YNWA #RIPJota #Jota #family
