A soft sigh in relief before she’s reluctantly pulling back, leaving just enough space for eye contact.

“I like it when you’re here.” She smiles, despite unshed tears in her eyes.

a tight hug is given to the girl as bobbi kisses her cheek, "of course i did. i'll always come back."

“You came back.”

Her shoulders visible relax when hearing he isn’t leaving again. But then there’s a look of confusion.

“How come?” She asks, but isn’t upset about the idea.

[Clint Bi-ton @SoftClintsArrow]

" No no. I'm not leaving."

Gentle smile towards the other and trying to think of the best way to word it

" you'll be seeing more of Elena around. Is that okay?"

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

She’s taken a step back to look at him again properly. Her little body swaying from side to side, with hands clasped together in front of her.

“Am I in trouble?” Her eyebrows furrow, trying to guess what’s about to be brought up.

“Are you leaving again? You just got back!”

[Clint Bi-ton @SoftClintsArrow]

Smiling a little and playing with his fingers gently before looking up.

" well um. I gotta tell you something."

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

But she wants her own— guess they’re bringing home two!

[‘ 𝓐shley @BARTONSPRODIGY]

maybe they should surprise dad with one??

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

There’s a long pause of silence. The girl eventually sighing, because it always an emergency that rips her father away.

“What if he doesn’t come back?” A quiet question while she worries at her bottom lip. It wouldn’t be the first time someone she loved never returned.

[𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐂. {parody} @dreaminrebel]

as she watches the young girl, elena finds her chest full of guilt. she's been exactly where lila is right now, her own mother being a strike operative. she knows how difficult and confusing it is at that age to have your parent disappear without warning for days on end.

Ready to hunt down the best of treats.

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

She steps closer and hugs him around the neck for a minute or two.

“I do like her— she was nice. But will she be here a long time? Sometimes people leave…”

[Clint Bi-ton @SoftClintsArrow]

" 'M sorry. Didn't have time to come home and tell ya myself."

Kneeling down.

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

A little shrug of her shoulders.

“You left me with her and didn’t ask me first.”

[Clint Bi-ton @SoftClintsArrow]

" What's wrong with Elena..?"

Praying she doesn't dislike her.

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

|| Just an FYI— I’m not entirely sure who I’m having as Lila’s mother. It might not be Laura though.

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

When does she get a kitten?

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

Her eyes scan for any injuries multiple times. The look of concern only disappearing once she’s entirely satisfied.

“Then… what are you doing here?” A tilt of her head, eyebrows furrowed. There’s always a reason auntie Nat comes to visit them.

[tony @ceostarktech]

[ she reminisces in the moment and the time before. it was never easy for her, nor the rest of them. yet she kept going on, not without cost, for her it wasn’t much of a burden but for Lila? ]

“No, I’m okay. You can check.”

[ she puts her down on ]

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

It’s nothing personal toward Elena. She’s even a little fond of the woman. But being left alone with her for several days doesn’t feel right.

“Why didn’t he tell me himself?” Her eyes narrowing, almost as if looking for signs of a liar.

[𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐂. {parody} @dreaminrebel]

there's a soft sigh as she rubs the back of her neck. this babysitting gig is harder than she expected.

"he'll be back in a day or two, i promise."

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

She returns slightly out of breath. A teal colored bow and matching quiver over her back.

“Mhm, in my pocket!” A smirk and little wiggle of the eyebrows. “Set up the targets, daddy.”

[Clint Bi-ton @SoftClintsArrow]

" Alright. Did you get the gloves as well..?"

Part of him hoping she forgot. Delaying more time to teach her..

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

Her face buries in Natasha’s neck for a long moment. Her mind needing time to truly recognize and believe that she’s there.

“Are you hurt?” Lila’s head lifts with that question, smile replaced by a look of clear concern.

The last time her aunt was there, she was in bad shape.

[tony @ceostarktech]

[ she takes her into her arms raising up into tight embrace as if it was the last time she can, although smiling so wildly even her face begins to hurt, but it means nothing right about now. ]

“trust me, even I had my doubts. but I’m here.”

[𝖫𝗂𝗅𝖺 𝖡𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗈𝗇. @MINlARCHER]

A smile so wide it instantly makes her cheeks hurt, while all but throwing herself into the woman’s arms.

“I didn’t think I’d see you again for a long time.” She whispers, as if their shared words are something sacred.
