@rellyrich10X Definitely a company man take, also tone deaf since its tech. Just this year at least 100k of these high total comp engineers have been laid-off, especially when its taking up to year for them to find a job, while the OE guys still have another job if he's laid-off

@Jbandz2t @TayOnTech If you are good at tech its less stressful having one job but with layoffs its unpredictable. Being a mid level engineer at multiple companies is not the same as being c2c contractor, the expectations are higher lol.

@TayOnTech The majority of firms with $300k+ roles are in tech/finance and you are elite if you hold one as an engineer. The point is.. based on the state of the industry it is more stable for an average engineer with niche skills to have 2 jobs making 300k instead of being elite.
