William H. Ramsey Fund: Honors Ramsey's work as MITES Executive Director from '88 until his death in '95. He was the 1st person to be named ED of MITES, & was committed to mentoring & encouraging young people from underrepresented groups to excellence & leadership in STEM fields.
Wesley L. Harris Fund: Honors Prof Harris, PhD, who is Charles Stark Draper Prof of Aeronautics & Astronautics, & was the 1st African American to be named dept head in the MIT SOE. Harris believes in cultivating respect & trust w/ students and still mentors MITES alums!
