Earlier today I met with representatives from Mastercard International and Ushanga Kenya Initiative to explore opportunities and collaboration in enhancing the economic empowerment through e-commerce for women in the pastoral Ushanga sector.
Mastercard is set to partner with the Ushanga Kenya Initiative in driving digital payment options across the counties affiliated with the Ushanga Kenya Initiative.

Mombasa county is a very strategic partner in our development agenda as a country moreso because of its location and closeness to the ocean. The Mombasa County Aggregation and Industrial park will act as a host of all other 46 CAIPs as the products from across the country await shipment to their destination outside the country.

It's a shame that we continue importing both new and second hand clothes into our country, 60 years since we got our independence.

The hardworking people of Siaya county and the region at large,have the capacity to clothe this country from their cotton farming, get shoes, handbags and belts from the byproducts of fish and others for export if only we facilitate wholly these Kenyans.

We need not be importing Rice, palm oil and sugar if only we can maximize on the potential of our people. Earlier today, during the launch of Migori county Aggregation and Industrial park,I had a candid discussion with the great people of Migori county on what we can do best to feed this country as they put money in their pockets.

I bid farewell to H.E @NAkufoAddo President of the Republic Ghana at JKIA, Nairobi after attending the #AfricaClimateSummit hosted by his host counterpart H.E President William Samoei Ruto in Nairobi Kenya.

I was elated to have participated in the inaugural @AfClimateSummit that attracted the Secretary General of the United Nations, the President of the European Union, 20 Heads of States and Governments and more than 16,000 delegates.
