@westsidemanii@fkawestwood we wont be. the world keeps getting worse in every possible metric, nostalgia is the only thing keeping most people sane lmfao. i doubt the 2030s will be any better.
@Alarothserana@szafiraka i was just thinking that. i have this problem in my house since whatever dipshit built my house didn't think of an exhaust fan for the bathroom. i have a usb dehumidifier and usb fan on full blast, nearly at the ceiling of the room, which seems to have solved that issue lmao
if it's one thing ive seen on twitter is everyone likes to bitch abt the current state of hiphop and rap but they are NOWHERE to be found on soundcloud or bandcamp supporting the artists they say don't exist no more lol
@EzMokonnen@_emwell_ again im not saying that rage/hyperpop whatever it's called is **THE** underground, but it is just the dominant and most popular genre in the underground rn lol. ive been making the same trill-esque beats for 13 yrs so believe me when i say im aware of how vast the underground is
@EzMokonnen@_emwell_ im aware G, im apart of that scene too lol. underground monoculture exists tho and that is the point being made and what the original dude was talm bout. raw rap & hiphop has not been the wave for quite awhile now which is why the broader UG is, as we said, movin ta rage n pop
Welp, I’ve officially hit the part of being old where you have nostalgia for music you didn’t actually like when it was new but it reminds you of being young so it’s good now.
