BREAKING: Donald Trump gets crushing news as retail giant Kohl's refuses to sponsor ANY Republican National Convention events in their home town of Milwaukee where they opened their first store in 1927.
But it gets even better...
“Kohl’s is not a political organization nor donor and is not sponsoring nor engaging in any specific RNC events,” said a Kohl's spokesperson. "We support the business community through the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce."
The rationale is not hard to untangle. At the RNC convention in Milwaukee, Donald Trump will become the first convicted felon in American history to receive the presidential nomination of a major party. The Republicans are proudly advertising themselves as a criminal organization.
The MAGA brand grows more radioactive by the day.
Please retweet and ❤️ to thank Kohl's for taking a stand — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. @FixingEducation 3/3 not Right. When they are young it is the best time to learn they can fail, but learn and improve from experience. How ever if you go in and say it couldn’t be my child, you set them up to think good behavior & manners matter.
You can also reinforce skills at home like
@FixingEducation 2/2 to go to preschool. Even then they haven’t learned please or thank you. Parents it is your responsibility to begin these skills. Also with respect for adults. Also attend school events. And listen to teachers, and realize your child is not perfect, and might do something
@FixingEducation Parents need to parent! Teachers shouldn’t have to teach basics like basic Manners, respect for adults. Yes teachers do these things, to increase learning and how to act in world. We don’t see the children until they reach about age 5. Unless they are lucky to go to 1/1
@ HP your technical service sucks! Especially on a new printer. I had one Tech hang up on me, after telling me there is a charge for them to fix the issue.
Hey Chicago! :) I'm working on a story for @BlockClubCHI about the history of Dibs. I'm looking to talk to some older folks who remember how the tradition got started. If you're interested in being interviewed or know of anyone who might be, let me know!
