A large cast iron frying pan (one of two) that my great grandmother got as a wedding present from her father in the late 1800s with usage instructions. She gave them to my grandmother who in turn gave one to my mother upon marriage and the second to me upon marriage. The instructions: if he’s good to you, you use it to fill his belly; if he lays hands on you, you use it on his head.
