A2. The challenge I faced as a TOC is being devalued. Like many TOC, I’ve had ideas that were dismissed in meetings, but were implemented school-wide without credit. The way to fix this problem is to create a system that supports the hard work, talent, and passion of TOC.

A1. TOC are the greatest resource for SOC. TOC affirms students cultural identities and help increase the academic performance of SOC. Research shows that SOC are more likely to excel academically and socially with a TOC than with a non-TOC.
