@ZeekArkham Catholic here. We get an occasional request for additional donations for charities and renovations but that's about it. It also helps that the Priest swears a vow of poverty so you know he probably not abusing the money.

@TexasPreacher I guess if you through your lens Rome diminishes Christ's Glory but in my eyes, it bridges Heaven and Earth and gives us a glimpse into the Glory of God's kingdom. Knowing the truth helps me to understand that that is the intention. Glory and praise be to God!!
