Everybody in Nigeria has suddenly become an expert in business and economics. Quick to tell Nigerians how other countries like Singapore, Malaysia, etc, became self-reliant. Do you have any clue about the business model of the countries you mentioned? Those countries use the Asian Tigers business model, where small businesses were provided with government aid in a favourable business environment. T-Pain has succeeded in formulating and implementing risk vulnerable policies that have exacerbated the precarious business environment in Nigeria created by his party (APC) under the leadership of Buhari. The policies are not the problem. I grew up in a compound in Surulere, and everyone, including my family and other families, used to laugh at the Igbo people in the compound because they did not wear expensive clothes or eat expensive food. To cut long story short, 8 years later, the same Igbo family that we all laughed bought the same compound and became landlord. The moral of the aforesaid is that the Igbos are resilient and focused people who know what they want in and from life and aggressively pursue their goal and are ready to deprive themselves of short term pleasure for the achievement of the goal in life. Nobody says you should love or celebrate the Igbos, but try and copy their resilience, astuteness, prudence, and goal actualization focused mentality instead of lamenting Igbo this, Igbo that. The Igbo man will ask,'Your face na payslip?' It means the Igbos know that money answereth all things and everybody has a price they will sell something no matter how valuable.

Have you looked around you? The remaining states in SW are today more run down than they were 40 years ago. What is the GDP of the remaining states in the South West? You all come to Lagos from your remote villages and claim to be Lagosians just because you speak a certain dialect, whereas those born and bread in Lagos that are of Half Yoruba parentage are disenfranchised politically and socially and then you have the audacity to moonwalk in your backward ethno enclave mindset into forum of progressives and patriotic Nigerians. Let me educate you. Governor Soludo is a failed leader who has decided to hang unto the thread of populism aimed at eliciting ethnic sympathy from gullible people. I own business in Lagos, and because I give no credence to tribe or religion. I prefer to say my employees are Nigerians. As a business owner, I hire the right people with the needed skillset to make business grow and flourish. To further deconstruct your ethnic narrative, there are thousands of Yoruba's in Diaspora in exceptional high paid and highly skilled jobs, be it technology, medicine, politics, law, just name it, and nobody is telling them to back to their country or town in Nigeria. These Yoruba's got to where they are in Diaspora through sheer brilliance, resilience, and the competitive ruggedness of a Nigerian. Cognizant of the latter, it is rather shallow for someone to advocate that in the same country (Nigeria). Some people should be handed a free pass based on a sense of entitlement because of tribe. Kindly hold your leaders, especially President Bola Ahmed, responsible for creating 3 decades of yobs and louts, a generation of youth dependency on crumbs and a pennywise pound foolish generation of Agbero's who hang around every corner of Lagos lazying about instead of looking for a meaningful source of living.

Following the arrest of Speed Darlington, many from different quarters have been dragging Burna Boy on social media. The only sensible commentator VDM who has once again shown himself as a peace maker with intelligence. Having watched the video of Speed Darlington ranting and spewing sick and vile rhetoric with extreme prejudice aimed at causing Burna Boy both emotional and reputational damage. I am of the position that Burna Boy has acted properly. Speed Darlington has to be grateful that Burna Boy only acted the Nigerian Big man way and did not go street with the ignorant Darlington.

Minister Festus Keyamo, some months ago, you showcased some men in uniform who are supposed to protect travellers. However, like many other ministerial management, you have failed to put in place measures to mitigate against the risks of bribery and extortion. What a national disgrace? Imagine the national reputational damage. Later, your government will shout de-marketing Nigeria, when it is your government that is de-marketing Nigeria through bad governance and twisted leadership.

The fact is that the majority of Yoruba's would rather stand on the road and do 'Tuale' to people and car owners, as against working as a dispatch rider. The work the Yoruba's needs to do is to address the root causes of preference for area boys.
