MPUMALANGA | 1 400 suspects were arrested in the Mpumalanga province between Friday, 03 July 2026 until Sunday, 05 July 2026.

Among the arrested suspects, 412 were arrested for Contravention of the Immigration Act (illegal immigrants and/or employers/landlords of illegal immigrants).

They are all expected to appear before different Magistrate's Courts tomorrow, 06 July 2026.

FREE STATE | 1 568 suspects were arrested in the Free State province between Friday, 03 July 2026 until Sunday, 05 July 2026.

Among the arrested suspects, 531 were arrested for Contravention of the Immigration Act (illegal immigrants) and 559 spaza shops or informal businesses were visited to ensure labor law compliance. 2 868 farm visits were conducted together with Department of Home Affairs and Department of Labour.

🚨 Exclusive: The White House made a direct call to FIFA to ask Gianni Infantino to review Folarin Balogun’s red card.

FIFA approached for comment and referred to the findings of its independent committee.

FIFA sources insist White House influence could not affect the decision due to the powers contained in Article 27 and the independent nature of the disciplinary panel.
