@estnonmeaculpa @bushontheradio Yes they do (landowners) - look at the legal maxim Cuius est solum, eius est usque ad coelum et ad inferos. Obviously the extent is fact specific and the courts have moulded this over the years, but you own the airspace above your house. You don’t need to buy it to build into.
